Easy way to track your cardio...Check it out!

Everyone keeps telling you cardio is the best way to shed belly fat, but you are having a tough time sticking to a routine for one reason or another...you don't know how far you just ran, how many calories you're burning, bored doing the same route day after day, and the list goes on.

I have some great new resources to help make your cardio routine a bit easier to manage:  www.mapmyrun.com is an amazing website to create new running routes, track your workout & nutrition progress, and so much more.  If you have a smartphone, it gets even easier!
"iMapMy is a fitness tracking application that enables you to use the built-in GPS of your mobile device to track all of your fitness activities. Record your workout details, including duration, distance, pace, speed, elevation, calories burned, and route traveled on an interactive map. You can even effortlessly save and upload your workout data to any of the MapMyFITNESS websites where you can view your route workout data, and comprehensive workout history."
The coolest part about this website is in the upper left corner of their site.  If you're not into running, they have options for numerous types of cardio tracking (biking, walking, hiking, triathlons, fitness, and even snowboarding/skiing)!  This site is amazing!

Another great option for mapping your courses, is www.mappedometer.com by Google.  I have used this site quite frequently.  This site will give you a map of where ever you're located and then you click where your starting point was on the map.  From that point, you click on each street you went on or plan to travel on until your route is complete.  It places mile markers right on the map, so you know your distance markers and your final distance traveled.  These maps are easy to print.  The only downside for this site is it won't track anything off road (like beach running).  Otherwise this is a great easy site for creating cardio routes.

Now that you have some great tools to make your cardio life a bit easier, you have no excuse to get out and enjoy this beautiful day.

"Excuses are useless...Results are priceless."
